Bushy Park is a great location to spot resident and migrant birds in spring. This training course, created by FSC London, is designed to help beginners to observe and identify birds and those with more experience to brush up their skills. Visitors are invited to spend the day visiting the open parkland, the ponds, the gardens with their wooded areas and the wetland being developed in the brewhouse fields.
The course starts on Saturday April 12 at 9.30am and finishes at 4pm. Meet at the Stockyard, Bushy Park. TW12 2EJ. Course leader is John van den Bosch who has been watching and helping to protect birds and their environment in Bushy Park for more than 30 years. Non-residents will be charged £35 for the course.
