Bushcraft Survival Skills Course

BushcraftBook your child on this exciting holiday course and join the fantastic team from Ember Survival to learn some fundamental bushcraft skills this summer!

Bushcraft is all about learning to use the natural resources we all have around us to thrive in the great outdoors.

The course goes from the basics of fire lighting and water purification to wilderness cooking around our camp fires to many other bushcraft topics such as tree identification, weaving and shelter building.

This is a fun, active six-session bushcraft course with all participants receiving a certificate of completion at the end.

The course is designed for 11-15 years olds and includes:

Day 1 – Survival situations and fire lighting
Day 2 – Wild food, baking and tree ID
Day 3 – Fire construction, signal fires, weaving and survival challenge
Day 4 – Tracking, shelter building and charcoal drawing
Day 5 – Water purification and filters
Day 6 – Survival skills summary and food preparation

All sessions take place at The Isis Education Centre in Hyde Park, the perfect base for exploration, discovery and learning.
