Trees for Cities is an independent charity that works with local people to transform urban spaces in cities across the UK and overseas. We engage businesses, residents, schools and community groups to plant trees. We deliver vocational horticulture and arboriculture training, education and landscaping projects.
We seek a highly-motivated individual to join our Development Team.
Reporting to the Development Director, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of Trees for Cities’ corporate partnerships programme, and developing relationships with business partners, in order to generate income for our activities.
This is an exciting position in a busy and friendly work environment, ideally suited for someone who is ambitious and driven to succeed and who enjoys raising funds to implement activities; someone who will rise to challenges and will bring fresh ideas to the team.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and pay close attention to detail. Experience in corporate fundraising including completing proposals, partnership working, and report writing is essential. It would also be desirable for applicants to have an active interest in the urban environment and enthusiasm for trees.
This is a full-time position based in Kennington, London SE11.
