Introduction to wild flowers in Bushy Park

Screen Shot 2014-05-23 at 08.58.08FSC London is inviting Londoners to an informal, beginners’ guide to flowering plants in Bushy Park, one of London’s Royal Parks.

The event takes place on Saturday June 7.

It starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4pm.

Meet at The Stockyard, Bushy Park TW12 2EJ.

During the day visitors will see a variety of species and learn more about how to identify them correctly.

There will be time spent in the flower -rich meadows and on the grazed acid grassland.

Leader is Pippa Hyde who is an experienced recorder, contributing to the London Natural History Society project and The London Flora Atlas.

She is also¬†chair of the Bushy Park Wildlife Group and editor of The Wild Flower Society’s Magazine.
