We are looking for an exceptional Partnerships Director to run a high profile national urban orchards programme. We are working in partnership with a multinational corporate, supporting their established corporate social responsibility programmes, working with communities across the UK. Working together, we want to develop an orchard programme, which will bring people together to improve green spaces and build healthier, happier, and more sustainable communities.
The Partnerships Director will manage 5-6 staff across cities in the UK to implement a national programme of urban community orchards, including planting new orchards, restoring old orchards, increasing access to orchards and training and capacity building programmes to support the community orchard movement.

Partnership Director £33,000 Fixed term 2 years. Full-time
Manchester/Birmingham based. (This role involves remote working, either from home or from a community hub)
To be considered for this role, you will need outstanding organisational and project management skills. You will be self motivated and driven to achieve the highest standards. This experience should be augmented with proven success in partnership working and experience of working on national campaigns. You are a self -starter, with excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire others to build commitment around a common agenda. You are an experienced people manager and are passionate about the potential to transform communities. A background, or keen interest and understanding in environmental issues is essential. The role will work closely with the CSR department of a multi-national corporate.
This role will require extensive travel around the UK.
