North London Waste Authority – waste prevention programme activities 07/03/14

The North London Waste Authority (NLWA) is running an extensive waste prevention programme which will continue into 2014/16 focusing on reducing local authority collected waste in north London. The 2014/15 programme of activity has recently been agreed and will include intensive activity to reduce three priority waste streams: food, furniture and textiles.

We are seeking to appoint consultants to complement the work that NLWA will deliver in 2014/15 and tenders are invited to provide consultancy services to deliver the following work:

  • Big free lunch events (Work Package 1)
  • Give and Take days (Work Package 2)
  • Swishing events (Work Package 3)
  • End of year event (Work Package 4)

Tenders are now being invited to support the NLWA by delivering the above work packages.  Consultants may bid to deliver one or more of the packages.
