Environmental Accreditation
Go one step further and get accredited!
An environmental accreditation is representative of good working practices and green awareness. As well as a good tool to signal your organisations environmental commitment, accreditation can help lower costs, reduce waste and increase efficiency. More and more, they are becoming a requirement for tenders.
LCRN has teamed up with Carbon Smart to provide an accreditation geared for social enterprises and SMEs. Carbon Smart provides a tailored, practical accreditation that fits your organisations. For more information, download the document below.
As time is a valuable resource, we have aimed to ensure that we do not take up too much of yours. Therefore, the process has two main steps:
1. Environmental audit
We’ll be on your premises doing environmental audit (looking at energy consumption, waste, recycling, transportation, office layout and use). Previous to this audit, we will send you a data collection questionnaire. This will be around 2-3 hours at your organisation.
2. Workshop
Here the results of the audit will be given together with your 'carbon footprint'. There will be an action planning session with measures how to reduce this footprint following the results of the calculations plus the site visit. There will also be a session looking at your organisations environmental policy. This workshop will take approximately 5 hours. Next workshop 30th of March
