Recycling Monitors (London Borough of Ealing Participation Monitoring Project 2014)
Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available for 3 weeks
Start Date: 6th March
Salary: £8.80 per hour
Keep Britain Tidy is an independent environmental charity that fights for people’s right to live and work in a place of which they can be proud. We inspire people to be litter-free, to waste less and to live more and we believe that caring for the environment is the first step to a better society. We work at the heart of business, government and the community to help people understand that what’s good for the environment is also good for society and enable them to take action to improve that environment.
The project will involve working alongside collection crews and monitoring resident participation in the kerbside recycling scheme across the London Borough of Ealing. Recycling Monitors will also be responsible for data entry. Full training will be provided.
Recycling Monitors are expected to be at the first street of collection by 6.45 a.m. to be able to start monitoring participation just before collections. Transport arrangement to ensure that they are able to get to Ealing will therefore be the responsibility of the Monitor.
