TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF FOOD WASTE PREVENTION SERVICES IN NORTH LONDON
North London Waste Authority (NLWA) is running an extensive waste prevention programme from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2020 focusing on reducing local authority collected waste in north London. The 2018-20 programme of activity has recently been agreed and will include intensive activity to reduce three priority waste streams: food, furniture and textiles.
NLWA are seeking to appoint contractors to complement the work that NLWA will deliver in 2018/19 with an option to extend the contract in 2019/20 at the discretion of NLWA. NLWA wishes to invite Tenders for the provision of food waste prevention services in north London. Details of the key requirements for the services are available at nlwa.gov.uk/procurement.
Value excluding VAT: £50,000 (£25,000 in 2018/19 and if extended £25,000 in 2019/20)
Deadline for submission: 4pm, 28 September 2018
Anticipated contract start date: 15 October 2018
Contract end date: The Contract Period shall be from the anticipated contract start date until 31 March 2019 (Initial Term). At the end of the Initial Term, NLWA may, at its sole discretion extend the Contract Period until 31 March 2020.
