TRAID (Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development) is a charity committed to fighting global poverty through its recycling and environmental activities in the UK. TRAID reclaim the UK’s unwanted clothes and shoes via its network of over 900 clothes recycling banks. Clothing is hand sorted for resale in its nine second hand clothes shops. Funds raised support international development projects. TRAID also run education programmes to encourage more clothes recycling, reduce waste and protect the environment.
