You’ll be liaising with Merton residents on a day-to-day basis and building good working relationships with them. Home visits will be part of the job, as you install simple but effective measures to help residents reduce their CO2 emissions, and pass on tips for reducing their carbon footprint.

As well as being practical, you should be able to relate to and communicate with a wide range of people, providing advice on home energy improvements and environmental issues. Ideally you will have a Domestic Energy Assessor Level 3 and City and Guilds 6176 Energy Awareness qualifications, however training will be provided for the right candidate.
