LVSC is offering a free webinar, aimed at health professionals and frontline workers from; voluntary and community sector organisations; housing associations and local authorities on the subject of spiralling energy bills and ill health and helping Londoners keep warm and well in a changing climate
The webinar will show you:
How climate change, ill health and fuel poverty are linked. What it means for London and how will it affect its most vulnerable residents;
How you can identify residents in fuel poverty and at risk of ill health due to living in cold homes a check list for your easy reference;
What you can do to help your service users cope with increasing energy bills and the risk of ill health;
What grants, schemes and helplines are available;
Next steps – we’ll help you refer service users to organisations that can help them;
Campaign(s) you can sign up to lobby on behalf of and support your beneficiaries and organisations you work with.

A few days before the webinar session you will be sent joining instructions via GoToWebinar. The instructions include a registration link unique to you which you will have to click to join the webinar.
This webinar is organised by London Voluntary Service Council through its Climate Change Leaders for a Low Carbon London project, funded by City Bridge Trust. It is run in partnership with London Community Resource Network (LCRN) and Energise London. LCRN’s operations manager Mike Webster, will be part of the expert panel for the webinar.
