Stepney City Farm is looking for an enthusiastic individual to work on a new project funded by LB Tower Hamlets, with the purpose of increasing the number of primary school pupils accessing farm services for free. The successful candidate will work closely with four local primary schools to build a greenhouse at the farm using plastic bottles, as well as leading gardening workshops with the aforementioned schools. The schools will continue to use the greenhouse after the project's completion. The post holder will also be responsible for delivering curriculum-linked environmental workshops at the farm to local primary schools. This is a fun project, suited to someone who is as comfortable working outdoors as they are teaching in a classroom. The role is part-time, and remuneration will be £21,000 p.a. (pro rata).
