The purpose of this role is to support members of staff to assist customers and beneficiaries to choose and buy reuse paint from current reuse paint outlets.
General tasks will include: Put away and display sorted reuse paint on the appropriate shelves according to type and colour; Maintain the downstairs display area/front room to ensure it is kept tidy and well stocked; assist with making improvements to the retail area to encourage sales, e.g. developing display materials, signage, promotional material; assist with sorting, checking and displaying smaller tins in the upstairs room and creating a vibrant retail space; provide advice to customers and beneficiaries on the type and quantity of paint required; carry out sales transactions/money handling.
Ideally, the candidate will have a willingness to be physically active, good spatial orientation, reliability, punctuality, and an ability to carry out instructions and work as a member of a team. Hours are from 10am - 4pm, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
